Subscription Cancellation and Refund Policy

Subscription Refund Policy:: The subscription refund policy applies to annual subscriptions of our quarterly print publication Letters from the Laughing Cabin. The subscription includes 4 issues per 12 months. If you choose to cancel your annual subscription, we will provide a refund for any issues that have not yet been shipped or delivered. Refunds will be processed within 3-4 business days of receiving cancellation notification from you, according to your method of payment. We will determine the amount of the refund by dividing your purchase price by 4, which is the number of issues in an annual subscription. For each issue that did not ship or was not delivered, you will receive a 1/4th refund including applicable sales tax. 

For example, if the amount you paid for your subscription was $59.95 for 4 issues, this amount will be divided by 4 which would be $14.98 per issue. If you received the first two issues, you would be refunded for the two remaining issues. So your refund would be $14.98 x 2 = $29.96 plus applicable sales tax, if any. (Subscriptions include free shipping.)

Refund Policy for Sample Packets and Back Issues: We do not provide refunds or exchanges for individually purchased sample packets or back issues of Letters from the Laughing Cabin. 

Lost or Damaged Mail

If you are a yearly subscriber to our print publication and any of your quarterly editions become lost or damaged in the mail, please contact us by using the Contact Form at the top of the page or by email to hello@laughingcabin.store or susan@laughingcabin.com 

We cannot take responsibility for lost or damaged mail, and we cannot offer refunds in these instances. However, we will take each case under consideration for replacing the lost or damaged edition.
