Letters from the Laughing Cabin is a quarterly print publication written and self-published by author Susan "Honey" Williams -- that's me shown in the picture!
What's Included Inside Each Edition?
Each quarterly edition features a 4-page, full-color publication. It ships in a rigid 6"x9" mailer. A random assortment of "extra goodies" will be included in your packet, along with special offers from Laughing Cabin Store.
The types of "extra goodies" you can look forward to receiving include coordinating note cards, memo pads, stationery, stickers, bookmarks, art prints, etc.
What's It About?
Letters from the Laughing Cabin is inspired by my recent book titled It's Your Time for a Comeback: A Call to Women Over Fifty to Return, Rebuild, and Rise.
It was during my late 50s that my heart began crying out for a second chance to reconnect with God and rediscover my authentic self. This is when God invited me to make a comeback. When I eagerly accepted, He brought me through a process of restoration that led to writing a book that carries a message for other women of my generation! It's amazing what God will do when you give Him your "yes."
Since the book was published, I've met many women who are hungry for connection. Many are embracing God's promises for the second half of life -- some for the first time. Many others are making a comeback after years of feeling shipwrecked or abandoned in their faith.
So, Letters from the Laughing Cabin is written from the heart to build connection through the printed word. The Laughing Cabin as a whole includes the printed publication, a blog, and a Facebook page where women can connect with me and others.
What Kind of Content is Inside?
All of the content is written for women over fifty who are embracing God's promises for the second half of life and have a desire to rediscover their authentic selves. The content will include stories about my latest adventures, devotionals, humorous anecdotes, recipes, book picks, North Georgia mountain living, prayer suggestions, heart-to-heart conversations, crafting inspiration, guest interviews with everyday women, and so much more.
About Yearly Subscriptions:
If you would like to jump in at the beginning of all the fun, now is a great time to subscribe. The official inaugural edition will go out by postal mail on October 1, 2026. However, you can subscribe at any time of the year.
Each new quarterly edition will be mailed during the 1st week of the following months:
- OCTOBER
- JANUARY
- APRIL
- JULY
When you subscribe, your subscription will start with the next quarterly edition. For instance, if you subscribe in August or September of 2026, your first edition will be sent in October 2026, and you will continue to receive a new edition every quarter for a total of 4 issues per 12 months.
Complimentary Welcome Packet
When you become a yearly subscriber, you may have to wait several weeks for your first edition to arrive, depending on the quarterly mailing schedule. I don't want to keep you waiting in suspense, so I've put together a complimentary Welcome Packet. Your Welcome Packet will ship within 3-5 business days after you subscribe.
